Welcome, we are located 20 minutes outside of Halifax in Lake Echo. My husband and I are proud and active members of The Canadian Kennel Club and The Canadian Yorkshire Terrier Association . We are happy to offer you healthy, Canadian Kennel Club Registered, pure bred puppies. We are hobby breeders with the highest of quality standards and committment to uniting your family with the life long companionship of a pure-bred toy breed dog. We would love to keep them all for ourselves but unfortunately we have to be reasonable. We take great pride in raising happy, healthy puppies. Our focus is to produce conformationaly correct and healthy Yorkshire terriers. We strive to see our Yorkshire terriers not only beautiful, but intelligent, active companions as well. Please keep in mind when you adopt a purebred dog from a reputable breeder, you're buying the product of careful selection, pride and knowledge. We as breeders take our Yorkshire terriers to shows, allow them to be judged by experts to keep with the Canadian Kennel Club approved conformation. The health and capability testing to make sure the dogs are temperamentally and physically good examples of the breed. We breed our Yorkshire terriers only to better the breed. Our loving interaction with our adult and newborn puppies assures the addition of a Risha's Yorshire terrier puppy in your home to be a lifelong, joyous experience. About Risha Risha's Puppies
We aim to produce puppies that are well adjusted, healthy, attractive, and happy additions to their new families. Correct Yorkshire terrier health and temperament is of great importance to us. Our puppies are raised beside the bed for the first few weeks to ensure everything is good with the puppies and mommy, around the clock. They are then moved to the living room, the central hub of the household. Here they become accustomed to all regular household noises. Our two very young boys, music, TV, other dogs barking, and visitors make for great socialization tools, which aid in a well adjusted puppy. All of our puppies receive the upmost care and attention, whether destined for the family couch, or the show ring. We guarantee all of our puppies for 24 months. While we try our best to avoid such problems, obtaining all appropriate heath clearances, and researching dogs, we are aware that a health issue can still present itself. Our puppies are all Canadian Kennel Club registered on a spay/neuter non-breeding contract pet home. Microchipped, vet checked and receive their first vaccines also come covered by 6 weeks of Petsecure Health Insurance. My puppy gift also includes food, treats, toys, bed and much more. If you are looking for a show quality yorkie, terms can be discussed . All the litters are very small and not often, and all of our puppies are spoken for well in advance of being born.
